Boris Georgiev (1888 - 1962) was active/lived in Bulgaria.  Boris Georgiev is known for Portraiture.

Boris Georgiev was a Bulgarian artist who was known for his portraiture. He made several portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and his wife Kasturba Gandhi, whom he met in 1931 when he sailed from Trieste to Bombay. He painted their portraits in 1935 when he was invited to their home. Boris Georgiev spoke of his acquaintance with the Gandhis in his lectures in Bulgaria, Italy, and Brazil. His portrait of Kasturba Gandhi conveys his reverence for her wisdom and strength. Boris Georgiev continued to speak of her with admiration more than twenty years later.
