Arthur Babbitt (1907 - 1992) was active/lived in California, Nebraska.  Arthur Babbitt is known for Film animation.

Arthur Babbitt was born in Omaha, NE on Oct. 8, 1907.  Babbitt abandoned a commercial art career in NYC after seeing a Disney cartoon in 1929.  He then moved to Hollywood and joined Disney where he was an animator on such films as "Snow White" and "Fantasia."

A Marine during WWII, he returned to Hollywood to work for United Production of America where he animated Mr. Magoo, and from 1966-73 he was art director of Hanna-Barbera Productions.

Babbitt died in Hollywood on March 4, 1992.
