A prominent Canadian painter, draftsman and educator, David Alexander (aka: David Thomas Alexander; aka: David T. Alexander) was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, he lived in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for 23 years (1980 – 2003), and currently lives in Lake Country, British Columbia (about 10 miles north of Kelowna). His paintings have been frequently exhibited, he has taught and lectured at numerous institutions, and his works are in the permanent collections of over a dozen Canadian museums.

His mediums include acrylic paints, oils, watercolors, gouache*, ink wash, charcoal, pencil, monoprint*, woodcut*, lithograph* and mixed mediums. His primary subjects are landscapes. The locations include British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Iceland, the U.S.A., the far north and the Arctic.
