Eduard Freiherr Handel-Mazetti was an artist who received his training at the Akad. d. Bild. Künste in Munich with H. Gröber. He worked in Italy, Switzerland, and Berlin and mainly painted watercolors and large-format oil paintings. He went on many art trips and was awarded the gold medal for painting in Paris in 1937.
