Emilio Gola (1852 - 1923) was active/lived in Italy.  Emilio Gola is known for Painting.

Emilio Gola began his artistic training under the guidance of Sebastiano De Albertis, supplementing it with repeated trips to the Netherlands and Paris.  Since 1879, the year he presented for the first time his works at the Exhibition of Fine Arts of Brera, Gola's participation in national exhibitions became constant, although he received the most official recognition at the European level.

An appreciated portraitist since the eighties, among his favorite subjects were female figures of the Milanese nobility.  This production is accompanied by a rich repertoire of views and landscapes of Milanese Brianza.  Active between Liguria and Venice, his late production was dedicated to the execution of marine painting conducted with great formal synthesis and expressive intensity.
