Brodnax exhibited across the state including the following shows and exhibitions: Annual Allied Arts Exhibition, Dallas 1942-43, 1944-46 awards, 1947 honorable mention; Texas General Exhibition 1945-46; Annual Texas Artists Circuit Exhibition 1946; Texas Painting and Sculpture Annual Exhibition 1950,1955, 1956 purchase prize, 1958, 1959 award, 1960; D.D. Feldman Collection, Dallas 1955; Annual International Exhibition of Women Artists, Paris1962; Beaumont Art Association; New Orleans Fine Arts Club; Dallas Society for Contemporary Arts one-woman.

Her works can be found in the Dallas Museum of Art and the New Orleans Museum of Art collections. She was affiliated with the Dallas Art Association; Museum League of Dallas and the Texas Fine Arts Association.
