George Baker was born in Massachusetts on May 22, 1915.  Baker was the creator of "Sad Sack." 

He settled in Los Angeles in 1937 and worked in the Disney Studios until the outbreak of WWII.  From 1945 he headed Sad Sack, Inc. 

Baker died in Los Angeles on May 7, 1975.
