Karl Hennemann was a German artist who attended the Hamburg School of Applied Arts in 1901 and studied with Friedrich Kallmorgen and Hans Licht in Berlin from 1901-1903. He also studied at the Munich Academy from 1905-1907 and verifiably on nature studies in Burg Stargard and Feldberg from 1908-1910. He became a freelance artist in Berlin in 1912 and went on study trips to Switzerland, Scandinavian countries, and Italy. In 1943, he moved to Schwerin.
