Piat Joseph Sauvage (1744 - 1818) was active/lived in Italy, France, Flemish. Piat Sauvage is known for Allegorical paintings.
Peter Joseph, said Pieter or Piat Sauvage, born in Tournai in 1744 and died in the same city in 1818. He was a painter of flowers, portraits, scenes and allegories, but also renowned miniaturist (including author of portraits of Marie Antoinette, members of royal families, etc.). After working for the court of Charles of Lorraine, he made his career in France, including working at Fontainebleau and St. Cloud (Arto).
