Pierre Lagage

Pierre Lagage (1911 - 1977) was active/lived in France.  Pierre Lagage is known for Painting.

French artist Pierre Lagage was born in 1911.

Lagage's oils from the 1970s seem to be walled in on themselves, as if the being were gathering together, curled up, under their desolate surface , tense and cracked by an insurrection of pain. They oppose a denial to the discourse of the historian who only sees influences, evolutions, contexts and obliterates their primary, existential dimension. (Jean-Piette Greff)

Pierre Lagage passed away in 1977.
