Shen Shijia was a Chinese artist born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. In 1925, he co-founded the Xiling Painting and Calligraphy Society with Tang Yun and Hu Yaguang. He later joined the China Art Association in 1929. After 1949, he taught at Shanghai Arts and Crafts School for a long time.
