Cows, chickens, nudes, landscapes, rusted automobiles, galvanized cans, people, pigs, flags, old boots, cats, etc., are only a few of the subjects Sue Roedder has addressed on canvas, in either oils or acrylics. She is best known for her Divine Bovine series (almost life-size portraits of black and white cows on a bright red background), and her Cows Visit the Museum series closely followed by her small paintings of baby chicks.

Sue's studio/ home is in Green Hills, Pennsylvania.  Primarily a self- taught artist, her work is familiar to those who frequent local and regional art shows, both juried and non-juried.  She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including several purchase awards at the Reading Museum.  Sue has had three solo shows, two in Philadelphia, one locally.  Her work is owned and displayed in both corporate and private collections across this country and Europe.
