Susan Blackwood (Born 1948) was active/lived in Montana, Colorado, Illinois.  Susan Blackwood is known for Landscape, figure, children, animals, florals and portraits.

Susan Blackwood is a painter whose work is juried into National Museum Shows including the CM Russell Museum Auction/Exhibition and the Salon International Exhibitions - 3 of her paintings have been awarded the Jury's top 50.  She has been featured in Southwest Art Magazine - ("Artist to Watch") and International Artist Magazine-("Master Painters of the World").  She is a member of Oil Painters of America and a founding member of Montana Painters Alliance.

Born in Chicago, Susan Blackwood comes from six generations of artists, and her lineage is traced back to the parents of Rembrandt.  She grew up surrounded by art. Her father was her first instructor and quickly put a small easel next to his in his studio.
