Philip Cornelius (1934 - 2015) was active/lived in California.  Philip Cornelius is known for Sculptor-abstraction, porcelain vessels.

Philip G. Cornelius was born in Southern California, and studied at the California State University, San Jose (B.A., 1960). He earned a M.F.A. at the Claremont Graduate School in Claremont, California, where he worked with Paul Soldner. He taught at Pasadena City College from 1965, and is currently Professor Emeritus (2001). He is known especially for his paper-thin porcelain teapots and vessels.
