Agata Kus

Agata Kus (Born 1987) is active/lives in Poland.  

Agata Kus deals with painting, drawing, ceramics and video. She is a graduate and doctor of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. In 2012, she defended her diploma in the studio of prof. Leszek Misiak, and in 2018 a doctorate. She has received numerous awards and scholarships. She is a laureate of the International Media Art Biennale WRO 2015 in Wroclaw. In 2017, she was nominated for the "Spojrzenia" Award of Deutsche Bank and Zacheta. In 2011 and 2018 she was a finalist of the Vordemberge-Gildewart Foundation Award. In 2021, she won the first place in the Young Art Compass ranking published in "Rzeczpospolita". Her works are in public collections, e.g. at the National Museum in Gdansk, at the MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków or in the collection of the Bunkier Sztuki Gallery and in numerous private collections in Poland and abroad.   ...  [Displaying 880 of 1220 characters.]  Artist bio
