On his immigration joined Kvutza of Hashomer Hatzair and later was a founder of Kibbutz Afikim.
1937 A founder of New Horizons Group.
1962 Participated in Venice Biennale.

Executed many memorials and environmental sculptures all over Israel, including: Memorial to Fallen of War of Independence, Rehovot; stone sculpture at Kennedy Memorial; "Ladders" (executed in 1957), gift of the sculptor to Tel Aviv University in 1994.
