Elías Garralda was a Spanish painter from Bidasoa who lived in Olot for over sixty years. He focused on landscape painting, particularly of places in Bidasoa, Navarra, Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, Vizcaya, and the Picos de Europa. He received training at the School of Arts and Crafts in Pamplona and from painter Jesús Basiano. After settling in Olot, he completed his training at the local arts school. He exhibited his work over a hundred times in various cities in Spain. He was awarded the Silver Medal from the School of Fine Arts in Olot. He disdained participating in artistic contests and contests
