The text above is about the restaurant Den gyldene freden in Stockholm, Sweden. The restaurant was opened in 1722 and is Stockholm's oldest preserved restaurant. It has welcomed many famous cultural personalities, artists, and writers over the years, including Jussi Björling, Evert Taube, Cornelis Vreeswijk, Carl Michael Bellman, and Fred Åkerström. Anders Zorn acquired the restaurant in 1919 and saved it from bankruptcy. After an extensive renovation, Zorn donated the restaurant to the Swedish Academy, which still owns it today. Evert Taube was a frequent visitor to the restaurant and had his table in the sideboard to the left of the entrance. When he married Astri Bergman in 1925, the wedding dinner was held at the restaurant. The watercolor in the auction depicts a scene from 1925, where members of the joke words Pax Aurea are crowded around a table, toasting and listening to Taube perform ballads on his tilt
