George Kedikoglou (GK)

Born in Piraeus, Greece 1956.  He studied naval architecture and marine engineering at the National University of Athens, receiving his diploma in 1979.  Along with his architecture and engineering business, he developed a concept on art synthesis.  GK's  philosophy has been influenced by minimal art and symbolism, expressed by the concept of flowing reality, physical harmony, poverty of art means  and the conceptualism of shapes. He believes that behind a work consisting of lines, shapes or 3d-forms is an art work that  always serves a poetic aim.
