Antal Jancsek was born in 1907 in Budapest, Hungary.

He studied at the private school of Artúr Podolini-Volkman, then as a student of Oszkár Glatz, Andor Dudits, János Vaszary.

He continued at the Budapest College of Fine Arts.

He began exhibiting the early 1930s, a collection of figurative and landscape works in an exhibition that opened in the Budapest National Salon.

He was a member of the Paris School of Artists, he painted many scenes of Paris café’s and street scenes.

His paintings can be found at in the Hungarian National Gallery.
