Sture Lundberg

Sture Lundberg (1900 - 1930) was active/lived in Sweden.  Sture Lundberg is known for Painting.

Sture Lundberg remained unknown for a long time in the Swedish art market, but through the memorial exhibition organized in 1950 at the Swedish-French Art Gallery, his exciting artistry was restored.

Already as a young man, Lundberg became interested in drawing and painting, and without his parents' knowledge, he skipped school for two years to devote himself entirely to this very thing. After studying at Althin's painting school in Stockholm and in Copenhagen and Munich, Sture Lundberg settled in Florence in 1920.

Only a few drawings and paintings are preserved and his works are rarely seen on the market. The auction was drawn in 1924, probably in Italy, and shows Lundberg's technical skills.
