Javier Vázquez Estupiñán, better known as Jazzamoart, is a painter and sculptor whose defined and personal style has placed him as one of the most outstanding plastic artists in Latin America.  He is an artist who has practiced semifigurative language and carried out an abstraction without dispensing Of an automatic gesturalism.  From his beginnings as a painter, his aesthetic discourse had a strong material imprint, influenced by Antoni Tàpies, Antonio Saura, Rafael Canogar and Jean Dubuffet.  His main themes are intimately linked to his love for jazz, hence his pseudonym Jazzamoart (jazz, love and art).
