Homer Hone Clark (1921 - 2010) was active/lived in Utah.  Homer Clark is known for Painting.

The following was submitted as a bulletin by Michael Clark:

Dr. Homer Hone Clark was my uncle.  He passed away on May 6, 2010 in Salt Lake City.  He is a descendant of Utah pioneer families and his father was a distinguished Professor at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.  Professor Clark was a well known impresario who brought the finest musicians  and orchestras to Utah and was the one who single-handed purchased the largest collection of Maynard Dixon paintings for BYU.  So art and music were well known to members of the Clark family.  Dr. Homer Hone Clark privately studied and worked with many Watercolor artists from Milford Zornes to Millard Sheets.

His passion also was making orchestral stringed instruments, for which he won many international awards.  His violins, violas and cellos are highly prized for their superior acoustic tonal qualities.  My uncle had bot an artistic eye and a musical ear for quality.
