Paul Douglas Wegner

Paul Douglas Wegner (Born 1950) is active/lives in Louisiana.  Paul Wegner is known for Sculpture.

For the Naval Academy in Annapolis, he created a heroic bust of Admiral Rickover. With his 'jazz series', he immortalized the dreams of American life by portraying the spirit of music in a series of free floating sculptural images winning the 'keeping the blues alive' award.  His work is permanently on display at the Old Salem, First Heritage, Mount Vernon, and the National Geographic Society Museums.
