Pedro Flores

Pedro Flores (1897 - 1967) was active/lived in Mexico, Spain.  Pedro Flores is known for School of Paris painter, oil paintings, tapestry cartoons, stage designs.

Pedro Flores was born in 1897 and passed away in 1967. Pedro was a painter from Murcia, Spain who trained in decorative painting and attended the Academy of Fine Arts of the Real Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País and the Círculo de Bellas Artes. 

Flores worked in lithography and photography before gaining critical acclaim in 1927 at an exhibition in Barcelona. He obtained a grant to travel to Paris in 1928 and settled there until 1933, exhibiting with the Society of Iberian Artists and the Spanish School of Paris. 

Pedro returned to Barcelona and worked as a drawing teacher until 1939, when he returned to France and began his period of maturity as an artist. Flores created works in various mediums, including illustrations, tapestry cartoons, stage designs, and oil paintings.
