Friedrich Adolph Gustav Pflugradt (born September 28, 1828 in Franzensberg / Neukalen, † May 20, 1908 in Berlin) was a German landscape and architecture painter.

Gustav Pflugradt was born the son of a forester in the Grand Ducal Mecklenburg service in Franzensberg in Mecklenburg-Schwerin, his great uncle was Caspar David Friedrich. The painter Franz Pflugradt was his nephew. After attending primary school in Neukalen and the Latin school in Malchin, he learned the trade profession.

He studied privately with Johann Wilhelm Schirmer in Düsseldorf and from 1858 with Ferdinand Bellermann at the Berlin Academy and at the Berlin Building Academy with Karl Eduard Biermann in his class for landscape drawing. In 1859 he received a scholarship from the Grand Duke Friedrich Franz II of Mecklenburg-Schwerin.
