Pierre Traverse (1892 - 1979) was active/lived in France.  Pierre Traverse is known for Sculpture.

Pierre Traverse was one of the few sculptors of his time to work in direct carving. He was also a pupil of Jean-Antoine Injalbert, Emile Antoine Bourdelle and Joseph Bernard. The sculptor exhibited at numerous Salons and won several prestigious awards.His works can be seen in the gardens of the Palais de Chaillot, the Centre Georges Pompidou, the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris and many other museums.
