Dean Morrissey (Born 1951) was active/lived in New York.  Dean Morrissey is known for Illustrator-children's book.

A self-taught artist, he was influenced by what he called the "visual story tellers--N.C. Wyeth, Howard Pyle and Norman Rockwell. For ten years, he worked as a free lance illustrator in New York City and became a full time artist in the 1970s.
