A portrait and miniature painter and engraver, Henry Pelham was born in Boston and died in England, where he drowned in the Kenmare River in 1806. However, he was a Loyalist and with the Copleys moved to London where he exhibited some of his paintings and then went to Ireland as an engineer and map maker and estate agent for Lord Lansdowne.
