Eugenios Spatharis (1924 - 2009) was active/lived in Greece.  Eugenios Spatharis is known for Painting.

Eugene Spatharis (2 January 1924-9 May 2009) was an artist of Greek shadow theater and one of the most important painters.  Born in Kifissia on 2 January 1924.

After his schooling, he started painting and especially for the shadow theater, learning from the pioneers one of whom was his father, Sotiris Spatharis, who died in 1974.  This familiarized him with the artistic genre and he started giving the same performances, initially during the occupation, in theaters of Athens, embassies, Gennadeion etc .  Since then, he has held a plethora of shows, both in Greece and in foreign countries, participating in international festivals and conferences specific to shadow theater.

He presented several projects with hero Karagiozis, both inanimate material (Heroes figures) and animated (live) performance with actors at the State Theatre B.
