George L. Schelling (1938-current) studied at Art Instruction Schools in Minneapolis, Minnesota and had a successful career as an illustrator for an advertising company. He has been published on the covers of Outdoor Life, Field and Stream, and Audubon magazine. He has exhibited widely in the New York area although his studio is in Pennsylvania. He specializes in animal and aquatic scenes.

GEORGE LUTHER SCHELLING is a member of the Society of Animal Artists and the Society of Illustrators. His paintings have been displayed in the Smithsonian Institution, the National Art Museum of Sport, the National Arts Club, and the Royal Ontario Museum and are found in major galleries throughout the West. His illustrations have appeared in dozens of magazines, including Outdoor Life, Field and Stream and Audubon.
