Daniel (Dan) Smith (Born 1954) is active/lives in Montana.  Daniel Smith is known for Wildlife painting-birds and animals, illustration.

Known for his use of muted lighting and soft colors in his wildlife landscapes, Daniel Smith was the winner of the 1888/89 Federal Duck Stamp competition. In 1985, he created the first state of Alaska Duck Stamp titled "Emperor Geese".
