Gerald K. Geerlings was born April 2, 1897 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was public schooled there. He died in 1998 in Connecticut. He had 2 daughters. He wrote
numerous books, and had different types of drawing methods. He went from doing pen and ink and charcoal to watercolors on different occasions and liked using tinted paper for different artistic effects (especially green tinted paper).
