Greg Parker (Born 1959) is active/lives in California.  Greg Parker is known for Landscape, sporting and still life painting.

Greg Parker was born in Southern California in 1959. Early in his youth, he found himself especially interested in nature and read all he could about naturalists such as John Muir. In his adolescence, he came across a small box containing his father’s painting supplies and a few of his paintings that had been stored after his father passed away. Although Greg couldn’t remember his father, he felt a connection with this humble box of paints. Ultimately, this was a life changing event for him. Greg decided he wanted to paint.

At the age of twelve, Greg enrolled in his first painting class and quickly discovered that he possessed a natural talent, which evolved into a lifelong passion for art. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Orange Coast College and later transferred to California State University at Long Beach to study art history, painting and sculpture.
