Horace Edmund Huey (1895 - 1963) was active/lived in California, Indiana.  Horace Huey is known for Landscape painting.

“Horace E. Huey was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1895. He received his early training at the John Herron Art Institute in that city. This was followed by extensive travel abroad with the opportunity of study of the great works of Art in the galleries of Europe. His art career was interrupted by the desire of his father to have him enter the lumber business, which was founded by his grandfather. It has only been in the last twelve years that he has renewed his art work. In again taking up his first love, he was greatly assisted by the teachings of Leon Franks, Sam Hyde Harris, and William Harrison. In the last eight years he has won many of the important prizes and awards offered for conservative oil painting, including important awards for six consecutive years in the exhibitions of the Tri-Club at the Greek Theatre and the much sought after Annual First Prize cash award of the Friday Morning Club of Los Angeles.
