Joseph Lane

Joseph Lane (Born 1900) was active/lived in Illinois, Texas.  Joseph Lane is known for Fruit and floral still life paintings, murals.

Born in Austin, Texas, Joseph Lane studied at the Art Institute of Chicago under Frederick Milton Grant and Laura Van Pappelendam. Lane was alternately a resident of Houston and Chicago in the 1930s and early 1940s. His murals reportedly could be found in several commercial establishments in Chicago.
