Netter Worthington

Netter Worthington (1918 - 2002) was active/lived in California.  Netter Worthington is known for Abstract figurative and landscape painting, teaching.

A painter in abstract styles, teacher and art administrator, Netter Worthington earned degrees from the University of Michigan and California State University at Long Beach.  He studied in Paris with Andre L'hote and Mexico with David Siqueiros.

At Chapman University, he was Professor of Art during the 1950s and 60s, and in 1965 became Dean of Chapman's World Campus Afloat program, which he led for 10 years and which, continuing today, sends students around the world each semester on a Holland America Line passenger ship.  Netter later became Dean of the Arts program at United States International University.
