Orhon Mubin

Orhon Mubin (1924 - 1981) was active/lived in Turkey.  Orhon Mubin is known for Abstract painting.

Mubin Orhon is not less emblematic of the "New School of Paris", especially his abstract lyrical flow.  Arrived in France in 1948 to complete studies in political science with a degree in economics at the Sorbonne, he plunges quickly in Parisian artistic swirls post-war and took drawing classes at the Académie de la Grande cottage.  It does not take him more to decide to devote himself to painting and to join the artists settled in Montparnasse.

After a first geometric period, the 50 will see their bill switch between other forms of abstraction, sometimes exploring the monochrome, often approaching tachism while gradually specifying aesthetics that would dominate his paintings the next decade recognizable by a curved and colorful gestures, such as colorful plumage or in monochrome, more or less tormented.
