Richard Sargent (1911 - 1978) was active/lived in California, Illinois.  Richard Sargent is known for Illustrator, genre, expressionist.

Richard Sargent was born in Moline, IL on March 26, 1911.  Sargent studied at the Corcoran School of Art.  His work appeared in Saturday Evening Post and other magazines.  In the late 1960s he retired to the Andalusia region of Spain and died there in 1978. 

Member:  Society of Illustrators.  Works held:  Conway County (AR) Courthouse.
