Robert Palm (Born 1940) is active/lives in Arizona, Wisconsin.  Robert Palm is known for Western sculpture, wild animals.

Artist Statement, Submitted October 2013.

After thirty five years of a busy urological practice emphasizing major surgery and patient care, my retirement has allowed me to concentrate on developing my talent as a sculptor. Western art has always interested me because of its historical significance.

My art background began early, since my father was a commercial artist. I took classes in art throughout high school. In college, mechanical drawing was part of my Chemical Engineering degree. Medical school, residency, and a surgical practice created understanding and feel for human anatomy. This has been invaluable in producing accurate sculpture.

After being encouraged by my classes at Scottsdale Art School, bronze sculpture is the natural medium for me.

Recently my work has been accepted in a Colorado gallery and was critically reviewed by a nationally acclaimed artist.
