Knut Rumohr (1916 - 2002) was active/lived in Norway.  Knut Rumohr is known for Painting.

Knut Rumohr is best known for his abstract paintings based on impressions of nature. "His pictures differed from the usual non-figurative painting in that they recreate the geometric division of the picture surface into more organic forms with irregular outlines, and constantly changing colors in vibrating brushstrokes. Such a 'symbolic experience of nature' put Rumohr into a Nordic landscape tradition , which became a direction within non-figurative art. At the same time, his adherence to tradition is expressed in images with tighter composition and resonant colors that lead the mind in the direction of rose painting and old tapestry." (Anker) Rumohr used tempera, based on emulsifying binders, which he made himself.
