Antonio Maro (Born 1928) is active/lives in Peru, Belgium.  Antonio Maro is known for Pre-Columbian inspired art.

Antonio Máro, Peruvian artist and doctor, was born in northern Peru.  Antonio Máro received his first artistic training with the Belgian Ricardo Grau, who was at the time director of the Academy of Art of Lima.

He then went for medical studies in Germany and studied with Willi Baumeister.  His intellectual roots are based on the pre-Columbian art and culture of his native Peru.
