Ken Orton (Born 1951) is active/lives in United Kingdom.  Ken Orton is known for Painting.

Ken Orton was born in Manchester, England.  During the mid 1990's he moved to the United States, he now resides outside New York City in the Catskill Mountain region.  His early studies were as a figurative painter.  Today the artist is best known for his photo-realist depictions of glass, primarily glass jars and bottles. 

In these paintings the artist creates an interactive surface where the glass through both refraction and reflection interact with other items in their surroundings.  Light reflected through the glass creates secondary subjects, items visible in the glass become subject matter like the glass itself.  The environment appears to constantly change.
