Antonina Sofronova (1892 - 1966) was active/lived in Russian Federation.  Antonina Sofronova is known for Progressive Soviet figurative art.

Antonina Sofronova was a Moscow painter, graphic artist, and illustrator who exhibited regularly from 1913. She was a pupil of Fyodor Rerberg and Ilya Mashkov and belonged to various artistic groups such as the Jack of Diamonds, World of Art, Moscow Association of Artists, Society of Moscow Artists, and The Thirteen. Sofronova had a singular, virtuoso mastery of both painting and sketching and easily adopted any stylistic technique. She had a fruitful association with The Thirteen, in which she was one of the key figures who directly defined the group’s creative credo.
