Balthasar Kundert

Balthasar Kundert (1892 - 1985) was active/lived in California / Switzerland.  Balthasar Kundert is known for Painting.

Born in Linthal, Switzerland on Nov. 3, 1892. Kundert worked as a waiter in Paris and clerked in a department store in Lima, Peru. During the 1930s wanderlust brought him to San Francisco where he began art studies. He then moved to Los Angeles and continued as a pupil of Nicolai Fechin who became his mentor and close friend. Kundert died in Lubbock, TX in August 1985. Member: LA AA; Painters & Sculptors Club of LA. Exh: Webb Gallery (LA), 1940.
