Benjamin Moore

Benjamin Moore (1952 - 2021) was active/lived in Washington.  Benjamin Moore is known for Contemporary glass sculpture.

Benjamin Moore is best known as a longtime faculty member of Pilchuck Glass School, where he helped push forward the boundaries of American art glass alongside his mentor Dale Chihuly. It was Moore who first invited Venetian glass master Lino Tagliapietra to visit Pilchuck in 1979, a pivotal moment in the trajectory of art glass in the United States. Today, Moore's pristine and colorful works may be found in notable collections around the world, including the Corning Museum of Glass (New York), the Venini Collection (Murano), and the High Museum of Art (Atlanta).
