Caroline Wynans Bennett

Caroline Wynans Bennett (1907 - 1992) was active/lived in California.  Caroline Bennett is known for Painting, Ceramics, Sculpture.

Caroline Wynans Bennett was born in Topeka, KS on Jan. 3, 1907.  Caroline Wynans settled in Los Angeles in 1918.  A graduate of UCLA, she further studied at Chouinard and Otis art schools.  After her marriage in 1928 to engineer Wm Bennett, she taught art at Beverly Hills and Venice high schools.  At the end of WWII she and her husband manufactured ceramic giftwares for many years. 

Her floral still lifes won many awards in local juried exhibitions.  She died in Palm Desert, CA on Sept. 13, 1992.
