Cliff Cavin

Cliff Cavin (20th century) was active/lived in Texas.  Cliff Cavin is known for Landscape painting.

The artist was born in and currently resides near San Antonio, Texas. Cavin strongly believes that art should work for the betterment of the community; therefore, his work is frequently found in charity benefit shows. The artist has also participated in cultural exchanges in Mexico and Japan. He studied under notable artists such as Warren Hunter, George Hughey, William Reese and Wilson Hurley. He has also attended many workshops given by the Cowboy Artists of America. Cliff Cavin has been featured in several publications including "San Antonio Magazine", "Southwest Art", "Art West" and "Art Talk Magazine". HIs primary focus is oil painting landscapes in which both strength and grandeur as well as gentleness and beauty are emphasized.
