Cristiano Mangovo was born in 1982 in Cabinda, Angola. With the support of his mother, Mangovo continued his graduate studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa in order to master the pictorial composition. In 2009, back in Cabinda, he worked as a painter and produced paintings of imbondeiros, market scenes. In 2011, he moved to Luanda, and in 2015, he embarked on the series Guiadoresautour of the Man-motorcycle that still feeds his work today.
