Artist Biography & Facts
Francesco Fidanza

Francesco Fidanza (1747 - 1819) was active/lived in Italy.  Francesco Fidanza is known for Landscape, figure, marine painting.

Francesco Fidanza trained in Rome with his father Filippo, also a painter, and in 1793 he moved to Florence and then at the close of the century to Paris.  In 1809, he moved permanently to Milan. Fidanza was stylistically influenced by Claude Joseph Vernet (1714–1789), while his handling of paint, although evidently richer and with greater contrasts of colour, recalls the work of Francesco Foschi (1710-1780).  Francesco Fidanza lived from 1747 to 1819 in Italy.
